Book Acquired Recently: Robin Coste Lewis’s Voyage of the Sable Venus

I received this book as a Valentine’s Day present. It is Lewis’s first poetry collection, and it won the National Book Award, an impressive feat. It is also a lovely physical object, with a dark maroon cover and an intriguing cover photograph on the dustjacket.
